Earlier this year I had the privilege of traveling to Florida to shoot a series of micro docs for my friends Universe Creative about Colossal Academy, a VELA Fund grantee and micro school based on a farm.

I don’t always get to do work that truly makes a difference and has a substantive impact on the lives of others, but this spring I had the chance to work on a project exactly like that.

After a long year of staying cooped up at home, it felt like a privilege and an adventure to hop on my first flight in over 15 months and head to Moncks Corner, South Carolina to shoot this piece for Universe Creative.

I’m excited to share that two videos I collaborated on with CM Productions this past year have been recognized by the Muse Creative Awards!

I had the opportunity to once again work with CM Productions to help create content for the WiNGS Dallas annual luncheon.

I had the great opportunity to collaborate with the Grotto Network and produce a story about a friend who I really admire, Filipino chef Emmanuel “Bham” Garcia.

I recently had the opportunity to work with the very talented Scott Faris and Meg Griffiths of Universe Creative, as they traveled to Dallas to shoot a video for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Redbird Studios.

Over the past couple months I’ve had the pleasure of helping tell the story of WiNGS, a Dallas non-profit with the mission to empower women, fight poverty, and impact generations. They do this through a series of great programs from financial management and fiscal responsibility, nurse partnerships with first time moms, and even entrepreneurial and business plan training.
