Colossal Academy - Parent’s Perspective
I had the privilege of traveling to Florida to shoot a series of micro docs for my friends at Universe Creative about Colossal Academy, a VELA Fund grantee and micro school based on a farm.
Colossal Academy was founded by Shiren Rattigan after she realized the traditional education system wasn’t the right fit for her as a teacher or many of her students. It was such a pleasure meeting Shiren, Julian, his mother Mariella, and all the other Colossal students, who you can tell will all go on to do big things thanks in part to this incredibly unique experience Shiren has created.
This video is a series of three, showing the perspective of a parent whos child goes to Colossal Academy.
